Generation 4
Our measures for the circular economy, sustainability and material health range from technical developments to support for Cradle to Cradle certification (C2C) of your luminaires. For the fourth generation we are using an advanced microchip which requires fewer components and therefore fewer resources. All the modules can be used for high efficiency (HE) or for high lumen output (HO), depending on the current. The latter allows the same amount of light to be delivered with fewer luminaires, significantly affecting the CO2 balance of a building. In addition, we provide you with a detailed Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for each product. Along with many other data, it contains detailed information on the carbon footprint. Tridonic also supports you in embracing the circular economy with a C2C EMC (Externally Managed Component) declaration which considerably simplifies the C2C certification of luminaires.
