Tridonic presents converters for indoor and outdoor applications

Converters for numerous LED lighting solution with high efficiency and low power losses – those are main features of the extended Tridonic range. It includes devices for indoor and outdoor applications (type of protection IP67), luminaire installation and separate mounting. As key components the TALEXXconverters ensure that LED lighting solutions operate reliably.

Linear and square luminaires

Dornbirn, Austria – Dimmable TALEXXconverter LCAI 80 W one4all units are designed for demanding applications such as linear and square luminaires. With a constant current of 350 mA or 700 mA and with a one4all interface they are highly versatile. DALI, DSI or switchDIM signals can be used for control. The corridorFUNCTION enables the energy consumption of the lighting system to be reduced. The non-dimmable TALEXXconverter LCI 80 W with a constant current of 350 mA is just as impressive.

Downlights and spotlights

The compact TALEXXconverter LCCI 16 W built-in unit is ideal for downlights and spotlights. Versions with constant currents of 350 mA, 500 mA and 700 mA cover all standard applications. TALEXXconverter LCAI 50 W or 55 W one4all and TALEXXconverter LCI 50 W or 55 W are also designed for downlights and spotlights. They are designed above all for operating LED modules with particularly high luminous fluxes. The dimmable and non-dimmable converters with constant currents of 1,050 mA and 1,400 mA are available for both luminaire installation and for separate mounting.

Outdoor application

The new TALEXXconverter LCAI 2x38 W one4all and LCAI 2x50 W one4all units have been developed specifically for outdoor applications. They are untroubled by even the harshest ambient conditions experienced by LED lighting in streets, parks, paths and even facade spotlighting. The brightness level is controlled either centrally or automatically to ensure high levels of safety and energy efficiency. The chronoSTEP function is ideal here. Preprogrammed parameters ensure that the brightness level is reduced during off-peak times, such as at night. Two output channels are available for connecting the LEDs; the constant current can be set between 300 mA and 700 mA. The one4all interface enables LED street lights to be operated according to demand and can be integrated in various lighting control systems, including bidirectional tele-management systems via DALI. The corridorFUNCTION as part of the one4all interface can be used to reduce the brightness level at night.
