Focus on energy-efficient operation

KG is presenting its PCA Basic digital ballasts at Light & Building because they offer exceptional dimming properties and are extremely cost-effective. Dimming is an important criterion for the energy-efficient operation of lighting systems.

The dimming range of 100 % to 10 % covers all the usual applications for T5, T8 and compact fluorescent lamps.

The PCA Basic ballast represents successful eco-design with its minimal power loss of only 0.2 W or 0.5 W in combination with the SMART DL ambient light sensor. These values are setting new standards. For added value, look no further than the established PCA features such as corridorFUNCTION for motion-sensor-controlled applications, switchDIM for simple switch control and Smart Interface with daylight function. The ballasts therefore not only meet all the requirements for demand-led lighting in corridors, offices, toilets, maintenance tunnels and production facilities but also offer additional benefits compared with non-dimmable versions.
